DIY Travel Fun Kit

Posted on July 04, 2013 by Darcy Le Fleming | 0 comments

We are flying to Europe tomorrow and I should totally be packing but I've been sidetracked by putting together this fun little travel kit to entertain my daughter during our journey. I pride myself on being a minimalist packer so I am completely psyched about how much fun stuff I have manage to fit in this Greensprouts snack bag!

Starting from the left and working clockwise we have:

Dover sticker activity books - available in-store at My Brooklyn Baby*

Crayola pipsqueak markers - we found these at Target

Blank books I made

eeBoo Scratch Paper - I cut the sheets down to size

Seedling modeling clay - available in-store at My Brooklyn Baby*

Altoid tin filled with little animals I found at the bottoms of our toy box.

My advice is that you start with the container/bag you are willing to carry and then fill it up. Search through their toys and arts supplies and get creative.  See you soon!

*A note on items available in store - we will be updating our pos system at the end of July which means we will be closed for a couple of days while we make the transfer but when we re-open, every item will be available online! Yay!
