Sharpie Eggs

I prefer crafts that don't require going out and buying anything special and this one definitely doesn't.  All you need is a sharpie or two, an egg or two and an inspiration (or two).  Sharpie works beautifully on a dry hard boiled or blown out egg.  For the three eggs pictured I tried to copy Japanese textile designs.  They're far from perfect and who cares it's just an egg!  They were great fun to make and look pretty darn good.    My four year old, who is typically banned from Sharpies, begged to try one and I eventually relented.  I'm glad I did because it was so cute to see her being so deliberate and careful and very, very proud of the end result.  Give it a try!
