Easy, Fast and Cheap Christmas Card Display

Posted on December 22, 2012 by Shawna Chandler | 0 comments

I love getting Christmas cards but then am at a loss as to how to display them.  Last year I strung them up like garland but this year I improvised these card holders so that they can sit on the mantle and each be seen in all their glory.  All you need is a cardboard tube (i.e. paper towel, toilet paper or wrapping paper), wrapping paper, a serrated knife, scissors, tape and twenty or so minutes.

Use the serrated knife to cut various sized columns from the tube.  Wrap each section with wrapping paper with about a 1/2" extra on top.  Fold over the paper so that the inside of your column is as pretty as the outside.  Now use the knife to score the tube about a 1/4" deep.  This is the slot that your card slides into.  That's it.  You're done!!!  Now you can display those beautiful cards anywhere you choose.   Have fun!
