My Brooklyn Baby is Turning One!

I can hardly believe it but My Brooklyn Baby is is turning one year old on October 8th  and we will be celebrating all month.  Check out the event schedule below- Hope we'll see you soon!

 10/8 Birthday Party 11am-7pm

Stop by the store for free cupcakes, balloons, stickers and flash sales all day!

10/20 My Brooklyn Baby Gives Back

20% of all the days sales will be donated to Little Essentials

Little Essentials is a 501(c)3 nonprofit providing free baby and toddler (to age 4) clothing and other essential items to Brooklyn families in need. http://www.littleessentials.org/

Are you curious about cloth diapering but don’t know where to begin? Then join us for this fun, informative session with Sarah Longwell-Stevens from Small Things NYC. From types of diapers (and how to get them on the baby) to covers to how to wash in your home or a laundromat to how to set up a diaper pail; Sarah will help you navigate the labyrinth of information concerning cloth.


  • Crocheting for Baby

Chances are you have already seen the beautiful creations of Xiomara Morgan (ZiZi) at My Brooklyn Baby. Now is your chance to sit with our resident crochet queen and learn some of her secrets. During this workshop ZiZi will show you how to make a simple baby blanket. Bring your own materials or borrow some while you are in the store.

  • Meet the Doula Night

Are you looking for a doula or want to know more about what a doula can do for you? Join us for this informal meet-up and get to know some local doulas, ask questions, hear birth stories and figure out if a doula is right for you.
