♥ Valentines Decorations @ My Brooklyn Baby ♥

Since December 26th I have been waiting for the appropriate time to put up Valentines decorations - I don't actually care about Valentines day but the chance to decorate with hearts and cheesy valentines is just too much for me to resist.

Photos below. I hope they inspire your crafty-pink-hearted inner Cupid.  ♥ ♥ ♥

I made these hearts by cutting a heart out of recycled cardboard  and then covering it with washi tape. Next, I folded the heart in half and cut a smaller heart out of the center, punch holes and string them together - Super Easy! If you are going to try it, I recommend making a pattern for both hearts and if you don't have washi tape, you could collage paper scraps or use paints, crayons or glitter.  I think this could actually work well with a toddler - just keep their color pallet in check and let them go crazy.
