handmade with love in brooklyn

My husband is a professional bass player and doesn't have a strong opinion regarding children's merchandise. Occasionally he will take the garbage out for me or help organize the stock room but when it comes to the instruments that I carry in the store, he is all in.

This year when the toy show came around, I asked my hubby to help me pick out a toy guitar and the result is this lovely little ukulele! He likes it because it is actually a well made instrument - it's not the toy version of a Ukulele, it is a Ukulele. We also love that the tuning pegs can only be turned with a little tuning wrench which means your child won't be able to immediately untune it. Another bonus is that because a ukulele only has 4 strings, it is much easier for little fingers to successfully play a few chords. And did I mention that it is made in Rochester, New York? Yay!
