Tie Dye Egg Cards

Here's another craft involving contact paper and eggs!
Supplies you will need:
- Contact Paper
- Watercolor paints or food coloring
- Paint Brushes or Q tips
- Blank cards or heavy paper
Cut your contact paper to match the size of the card and draw an egg on it. Now cut out the egg, being careful not to cut the edges. Peel the back off of the contact paper and place on the card. You can add "stripes" to your eggs with strips of contact paper.
Now, get your paints ready. In my case, I did not have watercolor paints so I mixed up little cups of food coloring (the gel kind) and the colors come out really great! I gave my daughter q-tips to mix the colors which we used to paint with too. It was great having a "brush" for each color because she tends to double dip if she only has one brush.
When the egg is all painted, peel off the contact paper and admire your beautiful egg! If you are careful, you can use the same contact paper stencil several times. Now lets see if I actually manage to get these cards in the mail before Halloween...
